How can I ensure the fastest possible notifications from SubAssistant?

Once SubAssistant detects an available job assignment on your substitute account, the notification is generated and sent within seconds. However, we know that every second counts, so to ensure the fastest possible notifications try to follow as many of these suggestions as possible:
  1. App (push) notifications using the SubAssistant Android app are the most reliable and generally the quickest method of notification. If you have an Android phone, get the app here from the Google Play Store.
  2. Reduce the number of notification methods you have enabled. Each method you use (app, email, or text) slows down the process.
  3. If you are using your cell phone to receive text message notifications, make sure your cell phone has good cellular coverage to ensure the text messages can be delivered to your phone without delay.
  4. If you depend on email notifications delivered to your mobile device, it is best to use configure push messaging for your email application. Some email applications are set up, by default, to check periodically; push messaging enables your phone to receive nearly instantaneous notifications of new email. Refer to your email application’s help documentation for more information.
